Fish Junky and I are headed to TC on Saturday the 24th WX permitting.  Who's in?  We'll hit the water around 7 AM.

Sunday is looking even better right now but you always know it can change this far out.

I'm seeing 7 ft at 11 sec for Saturday and 7 ft at 10 sec for Sunday.  Too far out to tell yet.  If it's crappy we might divert to somewhere else.  I'll post up as we get closer.  I just got some Branson sea slugs I really want to try.

the surf forecasts have some decent mid-period swell from the west/northwest building through tomorrow and then dropping off fast into saturday morning then a decent south swell coming in saturday afternoon/evening through Sunday.

I'm camping with friends who dive a couple times a year but are not strong divers and are generally out of shape so the only time I'm thinking of taking them out is Saturday a.m. It might just turn into a nice morning drive along the coast as I'm skeptical that the surf from Friday is going to drop off as much as some sites are predicting, but they may get it right.

Good luck to all who go out and be safe.

Cheers,
Brad

WX looks a little lumpy for this weekend.  Junky is sick so we're not going to fish.  Good luck to anyone who goes.

Weather was real nice today. Fishing was a bit slow for me, only about 20rf and 5 lings. Kept the biggest 32" ling, which I caught on a live mackerel, and 5 assorted RF. Released everything else.

Nice ling Ben.  Pacific Waverider and NOAA let me down again.  Glad you got into some nice WX and nice fish.
