Hello all.  I'm a new member and new ocean kayak owner.  I've been on SF bay a few times and Tomales bay, once.
I'm looking forward to getting out on the ocean but not insane enough to venture out alone.  Cheers!

Welcome aboard. I've only been on this past year, but have learned a bunch. When you go out, you'll be surprised how many kayak guys are on this site. I've launched out of Albion, solo and joined up with others. You would probably find it easy to join people like that also next to the jetty in Monterey or by using the hookup section on this site. Good luck, safe fishing/diving!
