Gotta throw my 2 cents in here....

Don't get the terms 'Pro-Staff' and 'Sponsored' or 'Professional Angler' interchanged.  They are in NO way the same and we have covered this in great length on another thread.  A 'Pro-Staff' member will generally get a discount on product in exchange for support at events, a little exposure, etc...  They are basically a contractor to the company.  This does not meant hey are any better/worse of a fisherman than the next guy.  I don't fish tournaments ... that is MY choice and not a criteria to be part of the Navico (Lowrance) Pro-Staff team.  I work VERY hard for them.  In addition to the 26 weekends I worked for them, I logged countless hours replying to messages, emails, phone calls, on-site visits with boat owners, etc...  It gives me no advantage as far as fishing is concerned.

If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to drop me a PM.

Does anyone else find it humorous that Spike isn't even here anymore and he is still stirring the pot?

-Allen

Spike hasn't even commented on this thread so how can he be stirring the pot?  More likely negative comments from individuals that are not happy with him.

Come on SOMA ... you can find the humor in this, no?  If not, lighten up.   :smt006

Since I learned BASIC in grade school, I always thought 'goto' was a normal word too  :smt044

Some guys just can't keep their dick away from the mousetrap. I can't figure out if their memory is bad or they just like the pain.  :smt006 :smt044

I'm not going to Spike's tourney, but I have friends who are going.  I hope they have a great time, and I hope that for whatever extent that Spike has been flaky with the NCKA community in the past, that he and his tournament can gain some ground on earning some respect.

I also hope that we can respect each other in threads like this.

As for tournaments and their rules, if you don't like them then stay home.
