Did the same drift as last week.  It was freekin COLD.  Check out the icicles at the mouth of Orrs Creek!!

The river looked ideal, but the flows are getting low, really low considering the time of year.  No love.

I did a walkabout from Lake Mendo Drive to the fork. I got to the river at 0730 hours and it was elfreo! COLD! I had one hook-up at about 0830 hours, until he jumped out of the water, pointed his butt at me, winked, then spit the hook like a mouth full of beachnut.

I'm headed out again in the morning. I think the ice level is supposed to be even thicker, as the temp is supposed to be 16. BURRRRRRR!
