The Serpentarium here in the valley usually takes in rescues. I donated my dragon after a couple years when I could no longer be home enough to care for her.

Just an FYI ... the beardie we had was a stray that was found outside, who knows how long.  He was already full grown, about 16" but skinny.   I believe he was impacted when we got him.  But  I waited too long to get him to a vet to help with the situation,  mainly because I thought he was getting better.  He was gaining weight and getting more active, and was having fairly regular bowel movements every other day.  But he took a turn for the worse one day and within a couple weeks, he passed.

Sorry to hear that Allen and it was a good deed on your part for trying to rescue him and extend his life a bit more. I was just trying to make sure no one thought they only lived for 2 - 3 years like some other pets with shorter lifespans.

And owning mini dinosaurs is really what attracted me to them from the start! They're awesome and devour just about anything! (There are a few thing you should avoid but not very many)

Good luck with the adoptions brethren

Hey all, I adopted one of these little guy and now am moving to a colder climate!  My neighbor has adopted the lizard, but already has all the "stuff" so she doesn't need the tank and lamps and features.  I've been trying sell it in CL but no bites.  Probably $300.00 worth of stuff.  I need to have it gone by Friday or it goes to good will!  Anybody want it?

Yes do the research.  I lost two in two days due to insufficient heat for digesting crickets. Heartbreaking.

Also, since the subject is reptiles, I have two nice snakes I want to go.  Only to a good home though.  Black Mexican King Snake apps 6' and Ball Python appx 3.5 ft.

My son has been bugging me for one of those things, may be interested.   It isn't clear, but are you offering it up for free?

Just to be clear, it's just the tank, not the lizard.
