Sunrise mountain sports in Livermore had some close out deals.
How do you like them? I went over there to rent a kayak for a buddy and the employee had no clue about ocean kayaking.

DOH!! They seriously need to hire a NCKA person for sales. I'm sure Kayak sales will be off the roof. Lol.
I think i've personally convinced over a dozen people to get into kayak fishing but i'm still working on getting
Tim to make the switch to a HOBIE!  :smt044 :smt044

A couple more windy paddles at Bolinas, and you got yourself a sale. :smt005

Tim...how about you think back to 3 years ago, Shelter Cove, Won & Herb's towing service.   :smt044 :smt044

Keith, that should seal the deal.   :smt005

Oh man! We still havent received payment on that service. The interest is piling up on that one.  :smt044

That upgrade would be sweet, Keith. I will most likely do it next year.

I already sent it to collections.  Some thugs will be knocking on his door any day now.   :smt044

CCK in San Carlos and Okaland should have some 2015 demo hoboes they are discounting. Seems like they'd be closer to you.

Sorry James, we don't want to demo any used hoboes in San Carlos no matter how close they are.   :smt044

Just a quick follow up. So after considering my options, and advice from many friends here at NCKA I decided to
to give CCK in San Carlos a try. Since others were also interested in getting a kayak we decided to get them together as a group.  Dan (Cowman) and I spent the afternoon working out the numbers with Cullen (Manager) at CCK San Carlos. He was very professional and work with us. :smt005 :smt005 (Thumbs up for him)

In short we bought 4 Hobie revos from his store and cleared out what remained of the 2015 models from CCK. (As tempting as it may sound we didn't try out any hoboes :smt044 :smt044) Over all the experience was a positive one for us. The guys were able to sell their yaks on the site, so congrats to all those who were able to pick up their hobies.

Thanks for all the input and responses from everyone on this thread. Good customer service, reliability and a good reputation is important to me. Looking forward to some lawn chair fishing in the new year and upgrades in a few years. --Keith
