Norcal Kayak Anglers,

Truth Reels is coming to CA in 2016.  We are coming to the shows and tournaments.  If you have any good ideas for us to help build our brand in CA, please let us know.

We think our size of reel is perfect for CA fishing.  We also have new reels in the works.  We appreicate the customer we have out there now and are looking forward to many more!

Remember:   Our reels are each handmade and assembled by hand in VA.  They are 100% made in the USA.  They have a lifetime warranty.  We have ceramic boca bearings and carbon fiber drag washers out of the box!  No need to upgrade..we already built the reel with quality parts.

Outstanding news, I have been interested in your products for sometime and have encouraged nor cal dealers to carry them while branded as Release Reels. There seems to be a good deal of interest in the forthcoming spinning reels anoungst the pier fishing community but those of us here would be most interested in the SG and to some extent the LG both of which are very appealing.

Any retailers in this part of the country in the works?  According to the website the closest one to me is in Canada.

Or plan is to spend our marketing dollars and time at the tournaments and shows and get out of the magazines and print ads. We know we have the best reels and service in the business but we have to get them out in people's hands. We want to be able to listen to our customers and build our reels accordingly. Avet's are great reels but I think when you see our personal touch and feel the quality of our reel in your hand you will be a believer.

We have the SS and SM Star Drag Reels that work great for pier and surf casting.  Spinning reel is down the road.

That is the purpose of my membership to your fine group. We are building dealers and product awareness.  At this time during the building stage, we can ship to you direct.  Email me at [email protected] or call 918-808-5996

Thanks Russ,    I'll be watching for them.  This was going to be my next purchase.    I've got a couple saltwater angler friends in Texas that are believers !  Prof Salt and Todd Johnson both swear by them.  ( both have owned Avets )

I have had the Avet  SX for three years now...  my opinion is it's a nice reel, but sure seems like it needs high maintenance.   Especially compared to the Penn.

I've got the Release SG model and I like it way better than my avet sx reel. I commercial fish and put a lot of wear and tear and never have had a problem. Might have to sell my avet reel to pay for another truth reel! Great product you guys are putting out.
