Don't know if the swells are going to settle in time. I'm off for the later part of the week, but it all depends on what momma nature dishes out. Dinos, steelies, rockies,  :smt017 what's a man to do....?

What about Sonoma? :smt005
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Sonoma would work, do I need a steelhead card for steelies there? Didnt have one when I caught them a few years ago it might have been required, to be honest I didnt know what kind of fish they were at the time cause they dont look like thier wild cousins one bit. They were killer on the Q though...

I think the report card is only for sea run. I'm gonna hit it this week.

Oh sure, give me one more thing to choose...  :smt003
sonoma would be another good option. I don't think this rain will dirty the lake. Guitarzan, you don't need a steelhead card for the landlocks. They are considered "trout" and the limt's according to the general trout limits. They are resident trout of the lake, and use the feeder creeks the same as their ansesters. They are pretty scrappy fish, and have a different look to em. They have oversized fins and tails. I guess their genes are designed like the larger ocean going cousins.

John, I am seriously thinking of going out Friday on south MB - Coral St, Lover's Pt , San Carlos, Del Monte: Light south winds, smallish NW swell, tho I don't know how much leftover windswell there will be.  Stillwater might be possible, too.  Santa happened to know my size in paddle pants so I want to try them out.

I did a lot of surfing last weekend, moss landing, huge 3-mile and some steamer lane middle peak tossed in.
water was streaming out of my nose for quite a while afterwards.
came down with some kind of sinus sore throat thing this week.

so probably not fishing.

I never say never tho.

hopefully the forecast stays like that, but sure seems like you might have a shot at it.

go tom go!
