Lowrance 5 CHIRP for $399 @ Academy

It is 000-11655-001 (you'll need to add to cart to see price) and seem to be cheaper than at other sites. According to rep it is eligible for rebate too, even though they link to older rebate.

That's a killer deal. I'm using a 5 Chirp now and really like it.

Just ordered the gold version with navionics chip and HDI transducer on Amazon for $499 and still get the $100 rebate to make it $399. Good deal.

Looks like $499 at Academy now.  I'm only seeing $499 at Cabellas too.  Someone post a link so we can verify & help others to get a good deal.

UPDATE:  I see the Elite 5x CHIRP at Cabelas for $399 - this DOE NOT have GPS included.  Let's make sure we are all on the same page as we sort through these good deals.

No.  Doubt you will either.  It is my understanding that this is still a price regulated item so the "cowboy" pricing you saw might have been done in error on their part (hence the reason you don't see it anymore).

Yes, but that is ONLY a fishfinder ... no GPS.  I want to be 100% transparent in what you are buying & at what price.
