Need DOTY diving guide (free kind) in Monterey/Carmel

I will be in the general area until the 28th.  I need to get a sheepshead and some other fish that are more prevalent in this area over the Mendo coast I usually dive. 

I don't have GPS and don't dive this way often enough to steal a favorite or second favorite spot from anyone. 

My wife is insistent I go with someone who knows the area and conditions as I have no experience down here.  She also wanted me to get a sharks shield before coming down here because of all the shark reports, but no one locally had one and it was to late to order.  Don't tell her the Sharks hang out up north also. 

I would like to take my kayak out of a reasonable entry spot and get a full days dive in at least once before going home.  Taking the wife out for some birthday fun and food on the 22nd so that's probably the only day I can't do it .  Let me know if anyone can work this into there schedule, otherwise I heard something about the cement ship having lots of fish and being a good spot to try.

Not much of a guide but am familiar with some spots. It's more to comfort your wife buddy.
