Update:
The mass on my pancreas is a fluid collection. It is going to take surgical intervention to insert a drain into my stomach or intestine, to allow the cyst/mass to drain. Right now, they cannot. My pancreas has not healed well from the last surgery, and the risk out weighs the potential benefits. They are going to draw some of the fluid and test it, using CT guided needle. This will indicate if there is a chance of malignancy. The pain is hard to describe as it is always changing. Most of the time, it feels like Barry Bonds caught me across the base of the ribs on the left side with a bat. Other times it is an impalement feeling like a #2 pencil was shoved in and broke off, and a donkey kicked me in the nuts for good measure.
We are watching my fever, if it gets to be 100, I have to go to ER asap. I am at risk of sepsis, which is not good. I will get it they say, just a matter of time, unless the mass resolves itself, which is fairly common.

So some good news on that front, just going to be in pain for a while, and nauseated. Probably wont be doing much kayaking for a while, I plan on coming to Albion, I will have my son, so I most likely will be pairing him with one of you to look over him and help him on the water.

I will keep everyone updated and posted as I get more info. Thanks everyone.

Thanks, just had the ct guided needle biopsy. That was cool as hell. Got to watch the screen. I gotta say, my guidance counselor screwed me, I could have gone the medical route and played with these toys!!!
