Los Banos Tadpole would like company

I've been muddling through kayak angling for a couple years. I had the opportunity to briefly observe a guy that looked and sounded like he'd been at it a while hauling out at O'neill forebay last weekend.  If anyone would like to take a whack at the planted trout at Los Banos Detention Dam or Bass at Oneill, I could use some advice and company.  Give me a shout and we can set something up.  I dearly want to try for kokanee at new melones or one of the other east side lakes come Spring '07.

I can probably swing a day on Los Banos late this week or this weekend.  I'll pass it by the boss tonight.

You may want to hook up with 1CRZYIND out of san juan Bautista. He fishes the forebay regularly and does quite well. I believe he uses live minnows for SB there. I had good luck with senkos for LMB off the weedbeds west of the launch ramp. Check it out.

I will hopefully be getting out in Jan sometime to the forebay. I do pretty well there in the winter and the weather is generally pretty good when it is not raining. Watch the hookups section, you will have plenty of chances to meet some great people to fish with.
