Has anybody come up with a solution like this for a Hobie Revo?
yes, call 2015 model...
you can try mine, Martin.  you might never go back... :smt007 :smt006
Slayer is 40 lbs. lighter than a PA14.
Move to a Slayer and you get a bitchin seat AND reverse with pedals!  :smt044
If it's 70lb lighter...
Slayer is more like PA.

So I made some good progress today. I modified the seat slightly to keep it from contacting the sides of the kayak. Then I added some pool noodles as suggested to help make sure there wouldn't be any pressure points. I ordered some kydex that arrived today that I will form into the corners of the kayak seat area, but I ran out of time.

Seats sitting in there pretty good now. It will easily unclip for transport or to put the old seat back in. No new holes in the yak.

Nicely done, added it to my to do list for my outback. Costco was selling ones like that too earlier in the year

Yep they must have brought them back down from the super high shelf. This was the first I have seen them.

I seen that seat and was thinking of doing the same.  Nice job... So how does it perform?  Does it more around?

Seems to be pretty solid but I haven't taken it on the water yet. I will report once I try it out.

Played on the water a little this evening seems to be just as stable and WAY more comfortable! Also set it in my buddies hobie outback and it looks like it would fit just as good.

I added some plastic to the points where the set could possibly contact the hull. Heated the klydex with a heat gun and it made it soft like a wet noodle. Held it in place by hand until it cooled then glued it in. Pretty simple.

Nice!  I have one of those seats in my garage.  If you ever feel like working a mod for a Revo, I would love to do it with some assistance.  My skills are no where near yours.

Is the center hatch on that OB pictured still accessible?  Looks like the very front lip may be covered by the front of the seat just a bit.

I don't remember trying to open it but it would be a little tight. I'll have o set it in there again and try it.
