She told me I could have anything from C-23 to C-35.  Don't even know why I picked C-30.  We can make arrangements later if it has special sentimental value to you.

If you haven't packed yet and have room for an extra table or two in your load, please bring them up. There's always a shortage of tables, especially for the potluck  food.

If anybody has a boys medium farmerjohn we could borrow please bring it. On our way!

No intentions of making Albion this year due to commitment for August. Figure I wouldn't be able to juggle both.

Sitting in my garage Thursday morning and my wife is out of town. She sends me a text stating that she will be out of town this weekend with my son and got her weekends mixed up . Ha, a feeble attempt to keep me home .   

So I am quickly scrambling to get the least amount of gear stuffed into my CRV.  Ya right .    While packing I know I am going to be paying for it traffic wise,  also that I have work on Saturday with the intention of calling in sick .

 Out the door at 2pm and arrive at Albion at 8pm.
Pull up to the office. They are closed. So begin walking around and stretching my legs. As I am saying hi to everyone. People I know and don't know. I get a smile on my face remembering why I LOVE NCKA members and these events. Warm welcomes, smiling faces and people offering  if I have eaten yet. Its like coming home to Family .  Especially Andy ( FM1 ) My Brutha  !!  You too Pinche Cabeza de Papa .    Make my rounds and call it a early night.

Hooked up with A Julian Friday morning to a late start. Make my way out and hang around the kiddy pool just out and to the right until I am situated and comfortable. Someone was actually fly fishing there as well.

So off I go. Make my way through the small washing machine at the mouth out near the buoy to a more predictable swell. Hook up with Andrew again and I immediately begin to put on a FISHING CLINIC for this young man . Actually it was the other way around.    
I am smashing lings one right after the other. Each time I look over to Andrew his rod is doubled over. He is continually fighting MONSTER REDS ( VERMILLION ). I am literally 15 feet away from him and not one verm. He said he was on the bottom.       

Call it a day of fishing and head in to enjoy some of the specialties being cooked and prepared around the campground. Just to note a few, Aliens chicken kabobs and Fishworks fried chicken were BOMB !!
Say what you want, but its always a good time at FM1’s site   

Craig , Thank you for putting on this event. I hope there is another before the bridge is re-done. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. If there are any shirts left over. I would like a XL long sleeve white. Thanks.

Oh ya, I crashed Friday at 10pm to wake at 2am for my trek back to Salinas. Ariived 7am sat and to work at 930 am.  Needles to say I was a mess working Saturday morning. Well worth it !
