Albion is the one NCKA trip that is mandatory for the whole family; even thought they are in their 20's :smt003. We were in the middle of moving and I just forgot. No big deal, I don't usually catch anything. If the weather is nice, Laura and I may take inflatable boat out and take pics of everyone.

BTW, if anyone is coming down from Oregon, and can pick up my son in Medford area, let me know. Trying to figure out how to get him to Albion, without driving to Oregon and then back to Albion and then back up.
Get his ass on Greyhound and ride the dog.  :smt044

I have a bunch of firewood I need to get off my property. I live in Petaluma right off 101. PM me if you want to stop by and pick some up on the way to Albion. thanks, craig
Do you just want to get rid of it or have it all hauled to Albion?

Didn't some kids (parents) get some trouble over catching baby crabs one year?

I seem to remember reading someone got fined because the kids did more than just release them.

I'm sure no crabs were kept so thanks for your concern. I'm sure you were the type to never harm a frog as a kid , too bad I was not like you. :smt005

Has nothing to do with it. I thought I read that fish and game had gotten involved and they weren't nice about it. Just a heads up, kids having fun may violate the regs. Simply holding it too long may be viewed as an infraction.  If you can afford it then you don't need to worry about it. I was a little concerned for someone that may be newer to the scene.  :smt006

On July 4, most of the crabs we caught off the dock were way too small, not "Damn, I need to shave" small, but way undersized...  and DFG did roll through Sunday but didn't even stop, just a "look boys, we're here watching" kind of thing

What I remember is second hand anyway so I don't know what they did or didn't do. Maybe they did something over the line. I thought it was worth a mention for the new people.
