I just took apart my TLD 15 because it had a sticky drag and its drag washer was soaked (that's the one made of that soft material). I dried it out and put it back together and it seems better. Should I get carbon fiber drag washers? I've heard good things. Any place I should buy them from?
Thanks,
Andrew

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I know a few people who replaced their Shimano drags with Penn drags.

I have a TLD 5 and 15 I thought the stock drags were pretty nice and worked great for years. When I installed the Penn washer and Cal's I couldn't believe the diff.

Absolutely!  my TLD15 that Alantani serviced & upgraded to carbon fiber + Cal's grease is still going strong. Love that reel for salmon trolling.
