I recently bought a pungo kayak for getting some exercise. Then it dawned on me that trolling would let me burn some calories and fish at the same time. So I slapped some rod holders on it and off I went. Now I am looking for a full on fishing kayak. I mainly head to Rattle Snake bar to fish and troll. Met a guy name James who helped me get started and another nice fellow who recommended I try out this board.

I also just got back from a Bucks lake camping trip where I managed to hook up with several brook trout by trolling with some Rapalas. So far enjoying the experience and looking forward to more.

I'm a troller too. You need be careful, or you'll soon have an irresistible urge to buy a Hobie...

Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

My Pungo was what sort of got me started too!  Still have 2 of them & STILL like to fish them when I do get a chance to go out.

Thanks for the warning! I actually used to own a Hobie Mirage way back in college. Sold it and got into motorcycles for awhile. I mountain bike a lot now so for me the point is to paddle and not use my legs. Hopefully I don't lazy =) Right now I am looking hard at the Jackson Cuda 14 and the A.T.A.K. I will search for some post on them later when I get the chance.

Hey Tom! Thanks for the tip! Hopefully I'll see you out there again some-time. Though it seems every week I have to walk another 5 feet down to the water. pretty soon there won't be anywhere to fish over there.

Def. Keeping the pungo for the wife. Not sure she wants to fish from it though. Nice boats for just having fun with.

I'd say it's only a matter of time before you change your handle. There's plenty of Sac Crew folks to go fishing with in your area. Hope you make some great fishing buddies and come to one of the events sometime. They're top notch. Welcome to NCKA :smt006

I think your right since I actually meant the fish themselves and not other fisherman. I guess a handle change is in order lol!
