Since no FF or GPS allowed try varying distances off the kelp beds or look for pinnacles marked by kelp. There are a few in both directions.  If you have a preferred depth use a line counter reel or count the passes on your level wind. Or, you could follow anyone named Craig, Allen or Raydon.  :smt003
