SIMPLY FISHING 2015 REPORT?

Im not seeing the location of this event...?

Definitely somewhere on the Sonoma Coast. Will finalize when I get a better idea about the numbers. The past two years it's been at Timber Cove but that place will only handle so many people..

Fort Ross would be a killer location. They have an awesome beach for awards/ chill/ bbq. Plus they have that large peninsula that shelter from the NW wind. I would be willing to donate my time/ truck to shuttle boats/ peeps/ logistics down from the lot.

But no matter where, I'm looking forward to it. Challenging and fun event for sure!

 The north cove wall doesn't really block the wind from the NW as it will race across the bluff then fall into the cove save the extreme shoreline. It does protect from the NW swell very good. The beach is a wonderful place. Not sure how the state would react. I would love to see a hard trail hike. Wheeling through rough terrain and having to carry down a steep cliff trail.

The best of all the tourneys. Will miss being in the competition. Scott

Will be announced just before the tourney.  Surprise till then.

bummer --for us it could be done... but to ad to the long drive logistical plan stage+the need to plan with work for time off + that slam down is the weekend before+ no location = no  way to plan our stay overnight/nights=makes it even harder to try and attend this one again...oh well..
maybe next time 

squeaky wheel gets the grease  --thanks to the member with exp at this event who p.m'd me  with some great thoughts on solutions to my rant /questions...we dont know those areas and I was ranting /overwhelmed trying to balance our big time want to attend 'this event' with our into the unknown fear of flying to new deals on a whim deal...great p.m with well thought out advice for my situation..looks like we can make this event now  ....details to check into first..

paddling would be a disadvantage for hobbies.
