I guess I now where I will be camping then. Any interest in gettiing a group site for Friday and Saturday night. Price is 240/night which includes the first 10 cars. After that it is It is the same price per car, $24/night, but you have an open area all to yourself and clean porta potties. We would need 10 cars worth to make it

Still got room?  If so, I'm in!

Registered, and would certainly be down for the group camp.  But not sure how many nights i'd be going just yet.

I'm planning on staying Friday and Saturday nights if the group site works out

I hope to make it up to dive and see everybody...will just depend on family schedule...

I was planning on Friday and Saturday night. If you want to stay through Sunday, Im sure they wouldn't mind as long as the site isn't reserved.  Looks like there is plenty of interest,  I will call OC store in the morning to confirm availability of a groupsite

Can you reserve an individual site? The web site says only the group site can be reserved. I want to have a reservation so when I show up late Friday I know I've got a spot.

I did a follow up call this morning  fri-aug 14th-2015
just to make sure they dont really do any res. for single sites...the guy on the phone was super cool-again- and said not worry no res needed and that they wont fill up...we went over the dates and the event folks rolling in and he was not too concerned and said no res needed for my single site /van/tent me and the Wife and doggy's--fwiw

so that was easy---ocean cove answered the phone-at almost 7 at night---nice

tells a couple bucks a day per dog--no res needed --plenty of sites and wont book out that weekend--nice

says even if we roll in 50 strong--still only half the sites--nice

the guy on the phone was very cool and seemed happy to help---nice!!
Wife has the time off already put in for---nice

going to sign up tomorrow and pay....anyone with exp at this event that can tell us what to bring for any prizes /donations /food / supplies to toss in your welcome to p.m us

" sites", I do know what you mean. I havent forgotten my "site" at Timber Cove. It was a cleared spot next to the pile of branches about 30 feet from the highway.  I had a site and I got to fish, but when I can, I like to get a site.
