Only boat on the lake. Trolled up 8 trout to 2lbs kept five.Lures rainbow runner, needle fish. A 750lb plant coming this week.

I envy you guys with your fishing from a kayak ,but my physical condition doesn't allow same for safty reasons.Your web site is my favorite place to find what is happening and you are a great group of adventurious fishing persons.Always sharing adventures and how to's Keep up the great effort.Enjoy your day

No problem with that then: one should fish any way they can--better than not fishign at all. You are a kayak angler at heart and in spirit and that's what counts with me and I am pretty sure with most others here.

Good Job...  With all the trout you catch,  Do you try different methods of cooking it.  My favorite is smoked trout.

I have found that the inline worm setup worked best during the warmwater season.68 -70+ degree surface temp.  now i only troll lures this time of season.

  I  steam my fish by using a quick cooker..By steaming shin and bones are easly removed .Season with garlic salt and lemon pepper onion bits.  i do not freeze, cook fresh next day after catch.I also share my catch with others.

 All the lakes are about the same temp right now.

Keep on trying because I have giving up on that.

I have also heard a slow moving lure, like a flatfish, is good for when it gets colder.
