Norm:

I have made that float many times at work, and a small NCKA group gave it a go last year.  I have some tinkering to do, and I'll post up when I'm thinking of a yak float.

Oh man that river looks SWEET! And that fish: AWESOME. Man you live in a great area for fishing: a bountiful area.

Indeed.  The opportunities within a 1 hour radius are insane.  Within 3 weeks I'll be able to fish for steelies 5 minutes from the house.

Ditto. We are so jealous if we stood beside Jelly's Neon Green Cobra we'd make it look gray. <thinks>Now how can I get the wife to move up there and Oracle to let me work from there...</thinks> Que Reality. Reality enters stage left and promptly bites  :smt093. Angler sighs and weeps :smt010 Curtain falls. The End.

Just have the big boss let you borrow the chopper...or maybe he can swing on by and pick you up on his way in.

Thanks Sean,

I'll be ready to go, with a few days notice, I can usually get a weekday off if that helps too....

Thanks for the link Mooch, now I'm all fired up, I need to start work on an anchoring system that I can run off the stern from the cockpit

Look forward to going and learning from you guys, I always feel like I am underutilizing the river that runs through my backyard.  I have spent quite a few days on it in the last few years, but certainly not enough.

Take care

Norm

Checked out the river yesterday and it's low but muddy but fish are rolling and there was 5 or 6 caught yesterday at DC. I was supposed to go shopping(WAF) but I'm going for a short paddle this afternoon.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
