Indeed.  The opportunities within a 1 hour radius are insane.  Within 3 weeks I'll be able to fish for steelies 5 minutes from the house.

Look forward to going and learning from you guys, I always feel like I am underutilizing the river that runs through my backyard.  I have spent quite a few days on it in the last few years, but certainly not enough.

Checked out the river yesterday and it's low but muddy but fish are rolling and there was 5 or 6 caught yesterday at DC. I was supposed to go shopping(WAF) but I'm going for a short paddle this afternoon.

DID YOU SAVE THE OTOLITHS?....MAYBE I SHOULD GO NEXT TIME

He's way too big for the otolith question...but we have a few of the "right kind" in the freezer.
