went out yesterday morning, jonesing badly. I think I left my nice trout/ perch spinning setup next to a river over thanksgiving, so I went out saturday night and spent the money, rigged a nice new 6'6" setup. Fished in my nieghborhood at sewer's for about half an hour before I snagged and realized that I'd forgot swivels. No re-rig, so I left. Big waves. Got a little wet. One hand sized BSP on the MORF. Let him go get bigger.  Season is in. Let's get 'em.
The eating, if you clean the fish and fry it otherwise whole in a pan with a little oil, has been good for me.
Not like a ling or a hali, but if you're broke, free dinner!
