Salmon off of Van Damme?

Trying to decide where to fish in the next few days, in plan on diving as well.

I like some spots by Van Damme to dive and fish and was wondering if Salmon are ever caught outside there as it would be great to target them as well as rockfish and Abalone.

Anyone here caught Salmon by there? Thanks for any info you can share,

In a month or so you will have a better chance off of Van damme or anywhere closer to shore if you want to get some salmon.  Some are being caught close but not a lot.  Doesn't hurt to troll around a little bit if you see schooling bait as the salmon are usually close by.

They come in at Albion, just a bit south, so I would think you could get them off of VD.  Get a chovie out there if you can, and please let us know how it goes!
