5/31 or 6/1 - Sacramento First Timer

Hey all!

Just found out my new Malibu X-Caliber will be here tomorrow.

Wanting to take it out on Sunday or Monday 5/31-6/1.

Was thinking maybe the West Sac deep water channel? Seems like a pretty safe place to start out.

I'm not a drinker so don't worry, no newbie drinking a cold beverage and falling out of his kayak to worry about 

I like fishing for Stripers around here and Smallmouth bass also seem to like the plugs I throw for striper more they do. 

Anywho, if anyone if planning to go out and wouldn't mind a tag along or wants to go with, shoot me a PM.

Heading to Lake Natoma for the first outing on Sunday.

Monday, I'll be hitting the deep water channel/jefferson access around 7am.

Cool man, shoot me a PM and I'll send my number over. I went down to the bank in the DWC a few days ago and my buddy hooked a nice 25"+ Striper he lost at the bank. There's still some fish in there.

Sunday I'm gonna take the girlfriend and launch at Negro bar, so I can rent her a yak to try out and see if I need to spend $$$$ on another yak haha.
