So I was watching the video from last year's slam down and a lot of people ate the landing. is it typically like that down there?
I might just go there to film the landing. =)

Had a great time at this years event. Great food, good people , great time and all for a GREAT CAUSE. Thanks for all your hard work Ryan and Mary and all that participated and of course all the sponsors. Just need to work on that hand shake.  :smt005  .

I totally fished the wrong areas. Locals kicked my butt. A couple small lings and only one I kept. Did see some great stringers though. Actually seen a couple guys that launched in a aluminum catch a yellow tail. One nice sheephead that some one caught as well.

Hot as heck up there for this time of year. Camping in the primitive sites is a bit rough though. Not much for shade. It did seem as though the full hook up sites had more shading. Note to self.

Of course there was the homies to liven the party up.  :smt005  Fishmaster1  and his son cochino, Pat, Keith, Jessie and his pops, Richie and a few locals that I apologize that I have forgotten there names.

Started Friday night off with a bang with a Abalone cerviche that Andy prepared . Out of sight.   :smt007  :smt008 Thanks Andy. Glad Andy doesn't fish anymore , because he is a pretty good cook.  :smt005  :smt005

Thanks everyone. Had a GREAT TIME as always !!!  See ya next year.

Alex

It was a great weekend getting to hang out with a lot of NCKA brothers at cambria. Ryan puts on a great tournament.
The weather was bumpy and a little swelly which I think put some of the RF off, but the event is alway fun.

We drank beer
cracked Jokes
BBQ some food
Fished.

I had to camp out next to this dude who may have wet dream issues or bladder issues. Either way it was a little embarrassing for all of us since he's and NCKA brother.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

I call BS.  I've seen the damage he can do with a pack of beer.  The puddle would be much larger.  :smt044
