glad to hear that you took quick action on preventing from something worse than catching a whale. Glad you got out of that dangerous situation. Other than that anybody catching Salmon?

Wouldn't have counted unless the whale took the bait into the mouth on its own volition.  :smt012  :smt044

Anyways, nice job on the quick reflexes! It's another reason why everyone should carry a quick access PFD knife.
