Great event and great folks.  Was nice getting there on Tue night and having a few extra days to fish and chill.  Been awhile since I got to spend 4 straight days OTW - good for the soul.  Really good to see the number of quality lings, cabs, and especially, reds caught over the weekend.

Big thanks to Eric/Abdiver, Vic/VWool, Ruben/FishKraft, Greg/Cajun, Martin, and the other folks who stepped-up and kept things rolling smooth - well done fellas!  Congrats to all who placed.

Only snapped 3 pics - here's the big verm caught by David/Tigerfish - congrats.

I will gladly concede!
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Wow! What a fun filled weekend my family and I had at Albion. Thanks for a job well done Victor, Eric, Martin, Greg, and Allen for putting on one of my favorite tourney together. There was tons of awesome food to go around to everyone and then some. Love my new burner that I won in the raffle. :smt003 Thanks to all that gifted my family and I with some Uni and abalone as well as some fish. You know who you are and I am so grateful for that. Congrats to all the winners. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Oh and the Shuland, awesome party you guys. :smt006

What a great event the Albion Open is.  Thank you Craig and Lynelle for organizing this and thanks to your delegated crew who did an exceptional job running the awards ceremony in your absence.
I also want to thank all the Shulanders who made Shuland a success.  Everyone pitched in and contributed in some way.  I experienced many exotic dishes that I probably would never have a chance to try.  I witnessed the birth of Roger Shu's  "RSHUshi Bar".  He was making sushi all evening on Saturday.  He had abalone, uni, tobiko, quail eggs, swordfish, wild yellowtail, and Japanese farm raised creamy buttery Hamachi.  Mmmm.  I hope you stopped by to try some.  Next year we'll be back in the D section
I had a great time meeting new people and seeing old friends too.  NCKA people are the best.

Thank you Craig/ Lynnelle and everyone one who volunteered to make this event happen. Your hard work was very much appreciated and me and my family applaud all your efforts!

This was the best Albion I've attended thus far and maybe the best NCKA event I've ever attended. The fishing was great as always. But for me, the gracious and curdious hosts around the campground made this a very special event. The food was off the hook and it was everywhere! I mean, I had to slip out of a few spots cause I just couldn't eat anymore... yellow tail poke, chicharonis, BBQ ribs and pork belly, the sushi bar, jell-o shots... it never ended. But somehow I seemed to wonder back for more.  :smt007

It's funny, I have my 14yrold niece here from NH visiting for the summer as a treat for doing well in school. We are doing our best to show her all the different things that our area can bring, events, food, cultural experiences, ect. Her living situation back east is less than ideal with minimal opportunities for real growth. After the event she could not stop talking about how nice everyone was, the food, the open friendship and of course Shuland. She loved it!

Thank you guys!
