You all know I have been waiting for a big manly canine to keep me company.

Getting there.

Daisy showed up today for a long-term foster.  Owner has Luekemia, and wanted to make sure she would be loved.

So far so good.  Little rat- dog.

I feel like Andy Morales.

(Yes she does have a sweater and a plaid coat.)  OMG

My last couple of dogs have been big manly dogs but I love the little terriers.
"Pedo Viejo" is what Antonio called me.

Yeah, I was never a fan of little dogs until I got to know a couple of 'em. Got over the little dog prejudice real quick.

Kudos to you for taking care of her.

She's a lucky little dog to have a kind person like you care for her.

Nicely done.

I was only into big dogs until my daughter was foster mom to a little chiweenie and we had to have her. Coolest dog I have ever owned. She hunts quail with my big dogs. I could care less if people think it is silly for a grown man to have a tiny little dog (like I used to think)I love that little thing. Her ears are longer than her legs

Make sure she wears her PFD!  My little dog LOVES to kayak, except he thinks every cast is me tossing a fetch toy and every fish is attacking us and she needs to defend the ship.

Bushy once again congrats on the new family member
maybe I can just ride the wave of this thread a second-instead of posting my own adoption story thread from this week
We also got  TWO new members for our tiny country cottage- my friend had taken work over seas/London for a 3 year contract and housing there was insane and the dogs would need to be in isolation for a while for disease etc lada lada lada London is a big city with no real no dog room, lot of long hour days for my Friend....so He was stressing all winter on who could take his dogs of 9-10 years, knowing he may never see them again and what is the right thing to do for the dogs--big stresser-did not want to ask us.
We talked and let him know we will take them in and they can live with us great fenced yard in the country .
We had all rented a house together for 3 years-about 6 years back and the dogs know us and are the same to us as if we raised them ourselves-easy transition-small dogs so no great burden to us :smt002
As of Tuesday night we now have 3 loving and very happy little ones all learning where to lay down and when to get a scratching and who is the boss etc...all very entertaining..new collars ..new dog beds-new tags with our number and dog baths yesterday ..getting the micro chips changed and first check ups soon.
here is our crew now and the last picture is our spoiled beagle of three years showing us her backside and what she had to say about day 1  of interlopers in her castle lol
