Looking to get back out on the water tomorrow...thinking about launching from New Brighton or maybe the harbor...Looking at the weather it looks decent for rockies/lings...unless I'm missing something. Anyone up for a paddle?

I did get out...

Hooked a number of rockcod, missed a couple of big takes...and watched a sealion head for the horizon with my mackerel in his mouth...Overall a good day on the water minus a minor depth finder issue. Weather was great, wind didn't come up till around 2pm good amount of bait around today.

@ Outbackmike the halibut fishing from the beach should be good this time of year if you hit the right spots. Years ago we would fish a secret spot every day after work and hammer the hell out of them. A friend limited out from the beach all over 27".

Launched at new brighton and worked my way out to opal cliffs and back hitting some numbers I found on the net...I drifted some for halibut but came up empty...not sure how on target my areas for halibut were...funny to see a shark warning sign posted on the beach.
