Hey everybody, exicted to post my first hookup report.

Me and my buddy went out at Paradise Beach in Marin today. With some lbait we got at Loch Landing. I cant recall what it was at the moment.

Buddy got there around 930 and it was lightly raining on and off. I got there about 1130, after I found out I got called off work and went to China camp on accident because to me they look quite similar and im still new.

He didnt get anything when I paddled out, then about hour later he go a nice one. Rest of the day showed nothing more. Although quite a few good ediable size stipers were had by others.

I made another video, thought id share it since it got some good responses last few I shared. SHows the day pretty good I try to make it short enough.

Sweet video and report. Is that a Bolinas mud marlin in your avatar? That thing is a stud.

Hah never heard that name before, it is one and a lucky burst of 5 photos. We caught a huge one there one time must of been pregnant was like at least 50 pounds, amd we let a first timer take the reel! We were like oh the all feel that way until we seen it

Anybody know what kind of bird mooches on the dock in my video?

We've fished for them quite a few times in the Bolinas lagoon and pulled some huge ones out of there. Monster leopards out there as well. Yeah, I like the name mud marlin because those rays sure do pull some string.

I think it's a Forster's Tern (see page 54).  I looked them up after I fished ARW, and they were diving the hell out of bait balls in the area.

I like the video!

Not really kayaking for me. Im used to surfing, and usally its shallow enough to stand around and the water is a lot colder at the bottom. Whwn I get out sometimes they are completly numb and is a bit alarming since its been hours hah. Also pretty sure ive stepped on halibut or some weord stuff that swims away

Thanks watching everyone, maybe ill see you guys out in the water and get you in a video
