I too am new to the salt. Been yak fishing the fresh stuff for five years or so, but want to hit the ocean this year. The forums have been a great source of reading materials that help one prepare for what to expect and how to approach ocean fishing safely. All I need at this point is the radio and a hookup that fits my schedule. hope to see you out there with fish on the stringer eventually  :smt001
