numerous Thresher Shark sightings today-right of the beach at MBK

Was just out there , confirmed GWS sightings as well.

Someone save me a few Thresher steaks!  Serious!

FWIW folks should  buddy up sat-there Was a real report of  a GWS spotted off the beach hotel down by the water treatment plant this week-the folks who saw it said it was very big and they were able to watch the fin circle and stick around for a while---3-4 days ago

obvious could have been a  Risso or Orca fin they saw while surf fishing but the story is up and down the beach right now 100% on this one

'I saw' two big males/Orca fins go inside  the mile buoy from shore ,while I was standing on shore by first awakenings breakfast place ,while waiting for my friends  last Sunday-So the bay is doing its thing fo sho

Meh. There always there bro,  This one is a resident. Saw it up close personally and was able to take a pick of it thrashing. The best way to tell if there is a shark nearby dip your finger in the water....If its salty, theres a shark around.



There was one spotted in SWS last thur as well. Shallow ten feet, in the cove.

After a  doctors visit today it looks like I do not have a hernia but I do have a nerve issue ....depending on how I am feeling I might make the derby ...hope I can attend but it is still ify ..

joking aside --
the GWS sighting report passed along- is not to scare newbs/og's but just to have folks be alert that the striper fishing guys swear there was a big GWS this week running along the surf ...just a heads up to have folks pay attention and be ready to help a brother out or not get too far away if not on vhf....never been a bump and run in Monterey and there are hundreds of kayaks windsurfers stand up paddle etc.. otw every week
