Is there a potluck/awards ceremony plan? It was so cold last year we ended up at a pizza joint.

Sparkling blue sunny skies on Sunday will help warm up temperatures into the mid-50s with a high of 54 degrees forecast. Monday’s high is expected to be 52, with 56 forecast for Tuesday. Temperatures will peak at 59 degrees on Wednesday.

Next weekend!!! Looks like we're going to have a great time lined up! Not only will we have some of the best freshwater anglers in NorCal competing for ca$h but we'll also have an open tourney for everyone else. The open tourney is prizes only and 1st place is a Elite 7, 2nd and 3rd TBD. We will have a morning of registration. We're also giving away a brand new Feelfree Lure 13.5. I believe in dessert camo... Very Nice Dan!

Yes, Dan from Headwaters of Lodi will be bringing out a bunch of angler boats for demo. If you want something not listed give him a ring.

We'll also have BBQ and pot luck so bring out a dish to share. The raffle will be epic as always, Lowrance, Ego, Scotty, Hobie, pro-cure, more and still more plus hundreds of dollars in gift cards. Thanks to Ken, traildad we'll have a porta potti on site.

So come out and fish, demo or support your NCKA brothers in the TOC. We all know the port can be tough sometimes but I believe we WILL have the best freshwater anglers on top... will it be you? I'm so looking forward to awarding these well deserved anglers!

The tides are favorable for the event, morning low with an early afternoon high.

I am going to try real hard to make this event ! Been real busy with the new baby and kids . Tides are looking good too. Anyone know what the water temp at the port has been recently?

It was 53 degrees at first light on 11/20.  Probably a few degrees cooler now.

10:00 will be Magic Hour..mark my words.

This morning was beautiful at the Port for my pre-fish. Got into fish right away, BIG fish. Anyway I fished from 7:30 to 1:30 and pulled a full 5 fish limit and ungraded again and again and again. You don't need minnows! 

Full report soon.... I think we are going to see some hogs on paper this Saturday!
