Berry Brawl'N 3/21/15- Fun had by All!

Fishing report:  Wish I could make it to the Brawl, but I have to host my future Daughter-in-law's baby shower this weekend.  But I did fish Berryessa's Oak Shores today to test out my new downrigger and trolling rod on my Hobie Pro Tankler for upcoming salmon season.  Tested my equipment then got into some awesome action on SMB, Crappie, and some spotted bass as well.  Hooked, landed and released about 13 SMB, but enjoyed this crappie when it hammered my jig.  Beautiful day!

wow bro, you slayed them.  Sorry to hear your not gonna make the Brawl'N. That wouldve made for a good score there. Nice and thanks for sharing. Indeed, reports are getting better by the day. The bass Bite No doubt is gonna be epic, Seeing crappie on the bite would be really nice as well. Now if I can just get one solid trout or salmon report!

Thanks Fishworks.  I hope to get in on all these cool events not only to get down on some fish, but just to meet some great people who care a lot about this sport.   I also think it's a great attribute on how everyone puts in their efforts to sacrifice their time and resources to help others in need.  That's awesome to me.  I look forward to participating and contributing in future NCKA events.  Good luck out there, stay safe, and live it up!   

Ok so I just got off the phone with Terry the Manager at PC and she assured me that there Gates will Close at 7:00pm
So urge everyone who is camping on Friday to get there before 7. If you know your not gonna make it before then, I have the gate code and will open it for you. You either have to call me or use your vhf radio to get a hold me Friday night to open the gate. Channel 69.
As for everyone else who is coming up the morning of the Tournament, I will have the gate open by 545 Sat morning. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING UP YOUR DUES, LAUNCH, ETC. BEFORE YOU LEAVE PC! DONT GIVE THIS TOURNAMENT OR CLUB A BAD NAME BY AVOIDING TO PAY UP.
In Addition, I will be doing checkins and giving out your wristbands right at the boat launch at 6:00 launch time will be shortly after 7:00am on Saturday.
Please don't forget to bring your VHF radio, life jacket, Hawg troughs or fish ruler, and camera on tournament day. Without those, your F#€ked!!

In honor of St. Paddy's day, I have a new bottle of whiskey for everyone to try out and help me finish Friday night.  Just look for the white NCKA flag and my lighted palm tree.  I will have a fire going, I am in site 142.

RV with Sewer, Electric & Water: $33.00 per day
 
Cabin 4 person: $85.00 per night plus $11.90 tax = $96.90
Cabin 8 person: $135.00 per night plus $ 18.90 tax =$153.90
 
Launching for tournament: $15.00 per day
 
If you camp we charge $5.00 per day to launch.
If you rent a cabin we do not charge you to launch.
