Berry Brawl'N 3/21/15- Fun had by All!

Another great tournament thrown by Ricci.. Great job on everything. Thank you to all that helped out with organizing this also. First off let me say fishing was outstanding, from the moment i got on my yak fri evening, till i left sun afternoon, bass were on the chew. Im glad i got to prefish fri afternoon because that showed me what i had to do for the tourney.even though my two biggest fish of the weekend came before and after the tournamet. but thats how it goes. Started off the tournament trolling a diawa flicker shad in the chrome clown color and a lucky craft stassey 90. First small mouth hit after 3 minutes of trolling. Second fish moments after, 3rd fish moments after, fourth fish was landed and recorded by the time i got to the second cove from the launch ramp. it was unreal. then i hooked this stupid looking fish that i never seen before later to find out it was a "sucker fish/ pike" i had my limit of bass by the time it was 8am. So i tried trolling for trout or koke's across the lake, nothing, so i went into a sweet cove way passed the power lines and caught 2 nice largemouths to knock 2 of my smaller fish out of the way, then stared to head back to the ramp and try for something big under the docks, nothing. Every fish i caught during the tournament was a eligible, leagl fish. i was hyped. caught all fish on troll, one fish on top water, and 1 fish on a bed.  but my favorite catch came after the tournament sat evening as a crazy trout slamed my top water popper in about 4 feet of water.. all in all it was a great trip and cant wait till dec for the championship in sac. see you there .
