That fish weighed 8# (well ok, it was 9) and was the ONLY fish caught among three live bait anglers.

Forebay is kicken 'em out!

...this was taken last Sunday. And I can truly say that Mike / Mickfish has been really consistent at Mendo =  besides Sean :smt002 IF Sean makes it on Sunday, between the two of them, the Forebay crew will not have a chance......but only time will tell.

Anyhoo, good luck to all and I hope we get enough people out in the water (no matter where your fishing) for our buddy Steve / Chef  :smt002

Mol,

Didn't that striper your holding come out of Mendo?  Sure looks like Mendo in the background.  The forebay is just yellow grass by now in the hills.

The Mendo guys will win or the Delta guys.  Does not make sense to me because we go up to Mendo for their tournaments.  Why don't they come to our nice lake to fish.  Also, you don't see Bass Masters setting up tournaments on which ever lake you want to fish.  I be at Ranch 99 waiting for my fish.  I know they have around 10 lbs.  Have to see if they have 20 lbs.  I will take it to Stevens Creek throw it in the water so I should be legal around noon.

Yeah, it is a mendo fish from a year ago.

Mendo just isn't gonna do it.  That is my feeling.

1 Mendo fish will weigh more than a limit at the forebay

I am afraid a Delta fisherman who will deal with wicked current, mad boaters, and giant ships will win.
I have to go out and get a scale now. Hope they make one that BIG!!!!

They do and you should be familiar with it it's called a Letter Scale it weighs in ounces.

You might have a better lunch but our Saturday night Dinner of big Ribeyes with the fixens will be Killer.

No seriously I just hope everybody just has a great time and a lotta laughs. Keep Steve in your mind all day and give him all our positive energy. I always root for the underdog so I hope somebody from the Forebay catches some big fish they are still in there and you got a lot of talent and good Karma on the water. Just remember we are all doing a good thing at the perfect time of year, I am proud and fortunate to be associated with all of you.
I will be fishing for Steve on Sunday and if I am fortunate enough to Win I want Steve's s name on the hat.

Good Luck To All.  Mike
