It was some fruity sparkling wine beer of some sort.
Something you would drink wearing a summer dress while spinning a parasol  :smt005

Grizzly or girly?

Angel wasn't as pie eyed as you Antonio.
He remembers how it really went down.  :smt044

You got me confused with the guy hurling while hanging halfway out of his tent  :smt002

Or the guy swinging on the short bus stripper pole  :smt044

my daughter works at russian river brewery. She got me in the back door last year but to me, it tasted pretty much the same as the elder..fucking delicious. I don't, however, think it is worth waiting in line all day for. The guys at the table next to us had waited in line for 6 hours the day before and when they got near the front, they had run out for the day. They had to come back the next day and wait another 4 hours before  getting their taste of the younger.

A friend of mine's kid also works there. Apparently I've got a seat at a table on or around release day. Can't wait.
I like all the kinds of beer. Why limit yourself? :smt004
Well, except for Wits. :smt044

I would wait one hour in line if someone wants to take turns. One thing is for sure their website says they will limit people to 3 ten ounce glasses and 3 hours in the brewpub. No bottles or growlers. Who's in?

My craft beer bar got a couple kegs of the younger on the release a few years back. It was a good beer but not worth the half hour I had to wait for it.  I sure as hell ain't standing in an 8 hour line for it. I felt that the elder was a better beer without all the hype and nonsense.

If I had an in, I wouldn't pass it up but you're not missing out on much if you don't try it.

I have a question for the slo contingent, Firestone has nearly ruined my life by changing the Double Jack recipe to a green label "limited reserve" version that is not as good as the original and, as it turns out, isn't actually limited, it's all I see now :(

Heard a rumor that the brewery keeps the original recipe on tap at their pub, can anyone confirm?

PS.....IPA's all day, you can keep your stouts in the closet where they belong :)

The only sour that gets a pass is Anderson Valley's Blood Orange Gose.....it's the bees knees.

I think Harry's Haufbrau in SJ gets a keg of it every year.

I bought a few growlers of Pliny the Elder from RRBC on November 3.  Totally forgot still have one left in the spare fridge that all Asians have in their garages lol.

You think its still good to go, or flat as a pancake?

Last year when I was waiting in line to fill my growler it started to rain.  The line for Younger quickly descipated and I enjoyed some Younger in my rain gear.  Go when it rains....the "indoorsmen" will run away... :smt044
