Survival Belt

Was thinking about how I could carry extra paracord in an organized fashion while on the trail.
I didn't want anything getting tangled up and didn't really want to have to carry it in my backpack.
I decided on a belt.
The belt has 8 feet of double walled nylon strap and 44 feet of paracord with a heavy duty metal lock buckle.
The diagram below shows the fold in the strap so you can have a length longer than your waist size (34 for me) and how to incorporate the weave.
I used the cobra weave...youtube it if you don't know how to do it.
I learned to make the first few weaves (along the single portion of he strap) tight. Once you get to the folded part of the strap make it so it just snug up against the strap but doesn't make it fold at all. The belt will be much more pliable and you will be able to get more rope into it. When you get back to the single strap, make it tight again.
I figure if something happens and I pretty much lose everything I am carrying there's almost a zero chance I'd lose my belt.

I wear a paracord bracelet that I made and I made one big enough I be a dog collar. I carry these when I go back country.
