I just ran across this great deal at The GPS Store. They are currently selling a Standard Horizon HX 851 Waterproof VHF Radio w/ GPS for $119.00.
I bought the same radio last year for a lot more. If you have been contemplating a new VHF Radio, I think that this is a really good deal.
Not only does it come with GPS, it has a automatic strobe light that turns on when you drop it in the water and a one button emergency button that will alert the Coast Guard and give them your GPS location. Standard Horizon is pretty good quality!!

Does anybody know if this radio can privately transmit your GOS coordinates to a buddy?  Just thinking.
