Watching the six o'clock news tonight they reported that the recent seal deaths/sickness were from   Domoic Acid poisoning...that'll put the scare in the public for quite a spell. The report blamed brain damage in the seals.

This may turn into one of the biggest NCKA potlucks. Get your perch fishing gear ready.

That is a negative. I am still crossing my fingers that it opens. There needs to be two passing test to open, that won't happen for Christmas but maybe for Crabfest.

Could explain our public officials in San Francisco too. Too much dumboic acid.

Russian River, Pt. Reyes and HMB all had numbers go up in the last test collected 12/8 and reported yesterday.

CC Times had a very interesting article about Demoic acid and its effect on the Sea-lion population.   I'm not a fur ball fan but its horrible what this poison is doing to the mental abilities of these animals.  Hopefully these extended algae blooms will not become the new normal.
