I ALWAYS use scent of some type.

Well....yeah, I woulda used scent too if that wasn't  in the box of stuff I left by the front door so I wouldn't forget it. Three flavors too... Pro cure Garlic, Kokanee, and Sardine. :smt010 :smt010 :smt013

I use Pro Cure exclusively. Kokanee special, steelhead combo , and krill  are my go to for trout and kokes. Trophy bass for bass, sardine for striper, anchovy or herring for salmon, and anything for ocean bottom fish.

VK thanks. That is where I get most things. I just did not know that there were scents for trout other than Powerbait.

I was at Berryessa in the kayak yesterday trolling from Skiers cove out to the main body for kokes/trout. Lots of marks from 10-30 feet but no bites.  Talked to a PB that trolled the dam and main body all day for no takers.  But things can change overnight.

What were you dragging out there? I gotta buy some lake trolling lures...

I plan to pick up:

- Couple small Sling Blades (dodgers)
- Few pink hoochies
- Few chartreuse hoochies
- Couple Needlefish
- Maybe a "Wedding Ring"?
- Couple cans of Shoepeg corn...

Any other suggestions?
For the shopeg corn: do you just troll that on a hook behind a dodger or do  you put it on a needlefish or hoochie hook?

Put it on anything you troll out there. Once the Kokes get busy they will hit that on any lure you troll. When the Kokes are biting you can troll corn on a bare hook behind your DR ball and flashers hooked on the ball. But you did not hear that from me.

Don't forget about the almighty blue / chrome Kastmaster  :smt002
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Good call. I have quite a pile of Kastmasters built up already. And yes, the blue/chrome is my go-to for trout in lakes.
