Sprouts had them on sale for .89 per basket. I got 10 and turned it into a school years worth of PB&J's for the kids. It may make into some yogurt for me[emoji3]

Score man! I am out. Next summer we are going on a mission and making many, many batches to try and make it last the year!

I found a massive "bush" on the delta last summer. Need to go back there. Only access was yak!

You mean your kids school allows peanut butter? I thought it was banned like lead in California because some people are allergic.

Question, I made a couple dozen half pints of blackberry jam this summer. What is the shelf life on the jam? I guess I could look it up on the interweb but I just want to know what other peoples experiences are....Thanks In Advance...

I wonder if you put A spoon full of this stuff would give you more shelf life.

I think if it is done right, sealed well, and kept in a cool dry cabinet, it should last all year. We make huckleberry jam back home and shelf it all year and I make it the exact same.

As  long as the seal is good, (with a good vacuum pop when you open it).  2 years, easy, if kept cool.

this is the one I used. I used liquid pectin not sure if its different (same measurements) but my jam is bit on the runny side at room temp (not to runny when cold). So next batch I will use the pectin mentioned in the recipe. Flavor is great regardless

I have some Huckleberry jelly a few yrs old. I wonder if it is still good. I was thinking of melting it back down and make ice cream with it. I think I'm going north to get some huckleberries this summer. I may do some lake fishing as well. Just not sure if I should take a hobie or the prowler. Incase I want to try a river.
