 Sorry to be out of the loop a bit… been really busy e-mailing and talking to people about HOW stuff..

anyway…

Looks like a dozen +/- vets coming to the event…  they'll be arriving different times through out the morning,,, which is perfect

40 fishing poles and gear…

  Talked to the care taker at Lake Hennessey and he is stoked that were coming back and is even calling Fish & Game about getting a trout plant…

Target fish?  Hopefully a recent trout plant will be a small lure reaction bite… we got those…  could use more

 Bass… maybe sluggish ,, we have lots of plastics and cranks

 Crappie… Best bet, but "I" have no idea how to go about this at this lake

  Bobber with crappie jig and worms?

That's all for now and chime in with what ya got or HOW to catch fish at Hennessey...

 

I will bring 5-8 extra boats depending on need and assorted gear

ok well that means we better figure to feed 30 or so. we have counselors,volunteers,park rangers and the like. I think it would be good to use up the stuff we got so…we can griddle up the bratwust and hodogs for lunch. serve it with Scott's chili mac and a green salad and potato chips for crunch. We will do quesadillas for the vegetarians. For breakfast, we will do the breakfast tacos and serve with fresh fruit,granola bars and a couple dozen donuts along with Dons all-you-can drink coffee bar. Don, are those bratwurst raw or fully cooked?

I have 2 frozen 14 packs of smoked sausage/hot dogs too. More left over HOW stuff.
