Ram mount for lowrance elite 3x

Just got my first ff and its the lowrance elite 3x. Decided to go cheap and spend extra money on safety gear.  I don't want to use their provided mount, but i cant find anywhere that says that there's a ram mount. The ram mounts sold are compatible with the 4x, etc. But it didn't say anything about the 3x. Will it fit? Has anyone tried it? I saw a ram type mount on lowrance launch video of this device. Is it the one for the 4x? Ive looked everywhere online couldn't find much info.

Send FishingForTheCure a PM, he's Lowrance Pro Staff and is a wealth of info and will definitely be able to tell you which RAM 1" ball adapter you need for the Elite 3. Once you have the correct adapter, you can pick your mount of choice. Congrats on the purchase - I love my Elite 4.

I'm pretty sure it is the same mount as the elite 4.
