Thought I'd try making one of them for the family Christmas Party, since I cant make a crabbing run before then; so whats your preference???

For Poke, thought I'd go with this recipe:
- YT or Salmon
- shoyu soy sauce
- sesame oil
- Shaoxing wine (or sake)
- toasted sesame seeds
- Hawaiian sea salt
- furikake
- green onion
- yellow onion
- mcacdamia nuts
- chili pepper

Not sure yet on the Ceviche recipe, havent tried one i like; so post one up if its worthy :smt007!

I like a little wasabe in my poke.  Ceviche is easy, just add lemon and lime juice.  Done.

I distinctly remember the incredible flavor of abalone and uni poke that I had at GS7. The flavor was so abstract and awesome. Ceviche tends to be more mundane, to me anyways. I would go with poke just to enlighten the crowd a bit more. Proof of the awesomeness of the legendary NCKA potluck.

Throw a small shot of Gin in the ceviche. You wont regret it.
