Portland albies?

Im in portland for do xmas shopping. Out front of hotel is a boat offering fresh frozen longfins for 2.50/lb.  i just saw some dude in a fur coat and ten gallon hat load up 8 fish into the hatch off of range rover lol

Would it b worth it to buy one and mule it home?  Will SWA at PDX let me carry on a frozen fish?

And wth is a boat doing w frozen albies this far upriver?

Their albacore season runs July to September so the fish has probably been frozen for 3 months. OK for canning if you do it this month.

Just ask him when they were caught and how they were cared for since.
