Question: While hunting pheasants, once I shoot my limit, can I give one of my birds to another hunter in the group and continue hunting? (Jerry)

Answer: No. Once you reach your bag limit you are finished hunting for the day.

Perhaps in the sense of shooting birds, but when someone in our party reaches their bag limit, he's turned into a flusher or posted at the end of a field to help hold birds, or helps push birds.  I don't think any of that is illegal, is it?  As long as they are not shooting at birds?

Not illegal at all. But if their gun is loaded, they will cite you. I do it all the time, get my limit and keep working to get the other guys on birds. But I unload my gun or put it in the truck
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
