Anybody ever go to work and found out you didn't have to

Woke up this morning did the routine, went to the office and discovered I have the whole Thanksgiving Week Off, Yeaaaaa!
I wish i found out yesterday morning because I did a full days work, Duh...
But glad I have this extra time to check out the Perch Fishing

Can't say that was ever a problem.  I have always known my days off in advance.  Once while taking Ambien I slept walked to the kitchen and made a bunch of food and then drove to work.  I was awake enough to drive but don't remember doing it.

Went Sunday and got 6.  Big swells made it hard to find good water.  Gonna try again Wednesday, hope the swell dies down.

I work 12 hour rotating shifts. Once came home from the 12th straight summer day shift, took a shower and thought "I'll just lay here on the bed for a bit". Woke up as the sun was going down, thought it was morning and got up and started my routine.  It was strange the kids were up and dressed.

My closest was working the tackle shop all day, headed strait to the bar/club with some of the customers/guides ... party all night & left there at 4:30am ... just in time to open the tackle shop at 5 with the first customers being the same guides I had partied with all that night ... followed by a full 12 hour shift at the tackle shop.  I couldn't have told you what day it was if my life depended on it.

My closest was working the tackle shop all day, headed strait to the bar/club with some of the customers/guides ... party all night & left there at 4:30am ... just in time to open the tackle shop at 5 with the first customers being the same guides I had partied with all that night ... followed by a full 12 hour shift at the tackle shop.  I couldn't have told you what day it was if my life depended on it.

This is why you should stop drinking for 100 days starting Jan. 1st

I wait almost all year so I can splurge at the holiday party!  I bet I only have a drink 3-4x a year.

was hired as head chef at a place in jackson hole many years ago, on my 5th day of work i walk in and the owner is in a panic/rage and he looks at me and says "take it all, everything you can carry, they will be here soon" , turns out he had a wee bit of a powder problem, and not the skiing type, and the IRS was on his ass, as my severance i got everything in the walk in, and all the equipment i could carry. got home that afternoon with a shit ton of whole NY strips, rib roasts, elk, caribou and salmon sides, needless to say the roommates where psyched, and we had one hell of a party, just glad the sheriff and feds showed up after i left
