Anyone know if we are allowed to crash in our vehicles in the overflow, similar to the Albion open? I've got a tent that fits perfectly right in the bed of my truck

That is something you'll have to talk to the main office about. I can't voice on the campground rules and regs. Also there are other camping options in the area.I believe Gualala Point Regional Park is open.

OK guys, registration closes tonight at midnight and there is no day of registration this year. Looking forward to seeing you'll at Anchor Bay!

There are almost always a few scoters around, although why you would want one is beyond me. Eccch! I tried cooking a Bufflehead once and I wasn't sure I would get to use the oven again. OTOH, they don't allow guns in the campground, which makes hunting turkeys out of there a sneaky affair.

Where should I park if I come early Sat. morning? Do I need to pay launch fees? I am camping up the coast in Manchester and will not be spending the night.

Just be sure not to park in your camp site, it may be occupied until 1pm by the earlier renter.  There is only 1 or 2 parking spaced at the campground itself; depending if the owner is there or not at the time - per Tess @ the campground.

there is Day Use parking......at the entrance to the right.....pay below @ check in office.....REMEMBER you have to pay for parking AND for 1 person (yourself) if you pay before it opens up, or she'll write you an U O Me More $ and stick it on your windsheild.

Drop your boat and gear off on the beach. Drive up to the free lot located at the top of the hill. The southern half of the lot is for us to use. No $5 launch if your camping Fri eve.
